Let’s be honest. In the land of white sand beaches and cascading waterfalls, just about anything you do on your Hawaii vacation could be romantic. But to give you a little jumpstart, we created a list of the most romantic places in Hawaii that require only two things, you and your ku`uipo (sweetheart). So get that “do not disturb” sign ready and get going! Oh, and you’re welcome.

From the top of this ridge, you’ll have a sprawling view from Diamond Head to downtown Honolulu. At night, just pull off the side of the road to take in all the twinkling city lights. Throwback to your high school make out spot days? We won’t judge.

This one is pretty self-explanatory. Just remember, no swimming at Sunset during the winter surf season.

Be at the Northernmost end of the beach, near the Sheraton Resort and the lava outcropping known as Black Rock as the sun begins to dip. There you’ll witness the nightly tiki torch lighting, which begins with a Hawaiian chant and ends with a sunset-backed cliff dive off the top of Black Rock.

5. Harold W. Rice Memorial Park (Maui)

The romantic element here isn’t actually the blowhole, but the famous heart-shaped hole in the lava rock located to the right of it. Can you say selfie?
