Blue Note Hawaii
Dubbed “Hawaii’s Best Live Music Venue” by Honolulu Magazine and the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, Blue Note Hawaii features nightly performances of world-class talent. With genres ranging from jazz, pop, rock, reggae, traditional Hawaiian and more, guests are in for an intimate and unique dining experience. Located in the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort, the club serves as a great means to cap off a day full of adventure.
The club opened in 2016 after undergoing a multi-million-dollar renovation, including state-of-the-art sound and lighting. Take in incredible live performances while imbibing on classic cocktails or try the signature “Blue Note Hawaii Martini.” Enjoy locally-inspired cuisine crafted by an in-house executive chef, from small bites like the fresh ahi tataki to the decadent short ribs.
Blue Note Hawaii is one of nine locations worldwide. The flagship venue opened in 1981 in NYC’s Greenwich Village and has since become a cultural institution and one of the premier music clubs in the world. Owner and founder Danny Bensusan had a vision to create a jazz club that would treat deserving artists with respect, while allowing patrons to see the world’s finest jazz musicians in a close, comfortable setting. Artists who had stopped playing in clubs decades before, such as Sarah Vaughn, Lionel Hampton, Dizzy Gillespie, Stanley Turrentine, Oscar Peterson, Ray Brown, and Tito Puente, soon called Blue Note home. Still a family-owned business, Blue Note boasts locations in New York, Hawaii, Tokyo, Nagoya, Milan, Napa, Beijing, Rio, and São Paulo.
