Fiercely popular Wolfgang’s Steakhouse located in Royal Hawaiian Center is an engaging restaurant known for its generous portions and expertly prepared steaks. Dry-aged for close to one month in it’s own aging box, the giant 48-ounce Porterhouse sizzling steak is the admitted “star of the show.” Slabs of bacon paired with creamed spinach create a filling yet tasty meal. With locations in Miami, New York, Tokyo and California quality and delicious food keep fans wanting more. Their lunch menu is also outstanding.

Prepare to make your way to the top of the Ala Moana Hotel. The elevator doors open and you are welcome to panoramic unparalleled views of the pacific ocean, city lights and lush mountains of Honolulu. This fine dining restaurant, from the 36th floor, is known for its craft cocktails, aged prime grade steaks and red carpet service. The cuisine reflects that of a traditional steak house with some elements of Asian flare. The Bar menu features 50% off happy hour nightly from 4:30pm-6:30pm

5. Morton’s The Steakhouse

They say it’s “the best of the best,” Morton’s serves USDA Prime-Aged beef with exceptional marbling aged 23-28 days. The Ala Moana Center dining room is intimate, features various black leather booths for couples and larger tables for parties of a bigger size. From lunch to bar bites and dinner, the menu is exceptionally large and offers great variety for any appetite. Power hour is a perfect combination of indulgent yet friendly bites while dinner is elegant but approachable served. One of my all-time-favorites isn’t the steak but the Morton’s Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake for dessert.
