Goma Tei
Goma Tei, a unique restaurant chain, is one of the best places to experience authentic Japanese noodles in the islands.
The name Goma Tei carries great meaning. Goma, meaning “sesame” in Japanese, is the main ingredient of our featured item, Tan Tan Ramen. Tei means “a meeting place where food and drinks are shared with friends.”
The delicacy of our ramen bowls is a result of never compromising in the preparation time of each ingredient. For over 10 years, Goma Tei has offered an exciting combination of traditional and unique ramen bowls and has developed a reputation for high quality food as well as a welcoming aloha-inspired hospitality. Our high standards are what distinguish our restaurant from the competition and keep our customers returning to try more of our unique ramen bowls.
We primarily serve ramen and are especially well known for our superior Tan Tan Ramen and Shoyu Ramen. Our ramen bowl broth is based on a delicately flavored stock made by slowly cooking pork bones, chicken bones and vegetables. In addition to ramen, we also serve other types of noodles, including cold noodles and curry noodles, as well as other Japanese and Chinese dishes, such as chicken tatsutaage, mapo tofu, and rice bowls.
Our company currently has four locations on Oahu, which are at Ward Village, Ala Moana Center, Pearlridge Uptown and Kahala Mall.
