Molokai Driving Tips & Rental Rates
When driving the roads of laid-back Molokai, keep in mind:
- All occupants of a car must wear seat belts (regardless of age), and children weighing less than 50 pounds must be in a child safety or booster seat.
- Right on red is legal unless otherwise marked.
- You won’t encounter much traffic — but you may encounter a mongoose or two (small, brown, weasel-shaped animals). Keep a watchful eye; these animals tend to dash out in front of vehicles.
