Originally from Kaneohe, Kimee is best known for her regular role as medical examiner Dr. Noelani Cunha on Hawai‘i Five-0 and Magnum P.I. Other credits include the original Broadway cast of Mamma Mia, the children’s TV series Hi-5 and a short stint on The Star of Honolulu as “The Bali Hai Girl.” Since moving back to Hawaii in 2012, she has founded a handful of creative companies including: Improv Hawaii (aka ImprovHI), The Hawaii Comedy Festival, and the soon-to-be released ActorsHI— an app designed to empower and highlight local actors. In March 2020, Kimee opened a small black box studio in Kakaako called Tiny Stage Hawaii where they produce several live streams. A lifetime student of the iconic Hawaii director/educator Ronald E. Bright, Kimee often performs and teaches improv comedy with her troupe online at improvhi.com. In her spare time, Kimee enjoys cooking, karaoke and staring at her husband’s face.
