Episode #17 – Featuring Kelia “Sis” Moniz – Two-time ASP World Longboard Champion and ROXY Girl

Two-time ASP World Longboard Champion and ROXY Girl Kelia Moniz is a graceful, carefree, beautiful local Hawaiian surfer who has been competing and winning against the best in the world since she was 14 years old. Kelia grew up in one of Hawaii’s most well-known surfing families with her Father, Tony Moniz, a professional surfer for all his life and owner of their family business, ‘Faith Surf School’ in Waikiki. Kelia began surfing at the age of five with her brothers, Micah, Isaiah, Josh, and Seth Moniz, all of whom surf competitively and are rising stars in the field of competitive surfing. Kelia is known as “Sister” among the surfing community because that is what she has become to the world at large. Sis’s main goal is to be a “positive influence in women’s surfing,” she says. Not only does she surf, but she is a gorgeous model, ROXY Girl, and has been in numerous surfing magazines amongst winning many other awards. Most recently, her and good friend, Hailey Bieber, released a new sister collection with ROXY – a “SWIM MEETS STREET” collection of comfortable sweats, swimsuits, and oversized t-shirts in March 2020.
