The goal of this TV Show / Podcast is to appeal to a broad audience including millennials, Gen X, Y and Z as well as Baby Boomers that enjoy wine but may not want to be or need to be a connoisseur. It is also an outreach to those that may drink wine occasionally and encourage them to explore it more fully through the lens of other interests. It is a multifaceted look at the world’s finest beverage and its niche in a diverse and changing world. Sharing sometimes provocative views and always insightful conversation, we want to inspire listeners to not only enjoy wine but to expand their connections and world view through it.
The hosts of this show are Chris Ramelb, Hali’a Parish, and Moani Hara. Chris Ramelb is an advanced Sommelier with an extensive knowledge and history studying and promoting wine. His commitment to sharing his love of wine and all things alcohol is unparalleled. Hali’a Parish is an actress, singer, and dancer who has performed on multiple stages with roles in Legends in Concert and in Disney World. Moani Hara has been in the entertainment industry for 20 years. She is the former Miss Hawaii USA 2014, and has done modeling, acting and commercial work.

Christopher Ramelb, a native of Kaua’i, started his wine career in 2012 as a business analyst for Southern Wine and Spirits after earning a Computer Science degree at University of Hawaii at Manoa. He has since twice represented Hawaii at the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs National Young Somm finals, won the Clore scholarship for the top score at the Certified Sommelier exam, and earned the coveted Johnston Medal in 2016, achieving the highest score for all Advanced Examinations in the calendar year, beating out hundreds of candidates across the globe. He furthered his wine studies on the floor at Vino and Alan Wong’s, and eventually took the post of opening Wine Director at Senia, where he helped earn the restaurant a James Beard nomination for “Best New Restaurant”, and a spot in Wine Enthusiast’s “America’s Top 100 Wine Restaurants” in 2017. He rejoined Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits as the Restaurant Sales Manager and Director of Wine Education in 2018, the same year he first passed the Master Sommelier examination. He loves consuming and learning all things alcohol and is committed to furthering the drinking and hospitality culture in Hawaii.
Moani has been in the entertainment industry for 20 years. First as a model, holding the title of Miss Hawaii USA in 2014, and also acting and commercial work in LA. She even played a feature roll in the movie “Snatched” alongside Amy Schumer. You can also catch her in numerous print works, and featured with Ala Moana shopping center. She has been in many commercials for well known local businesses and most recently a co-host on “5 Facts with Maleko, Flash and Moani Hara” airing in September for KITV4. Being born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, this local girl has gained experience making connections within the community as well as being able to create and nourish connections on the mainland. Moani is driven and constantly is searching for how she can push her limits and broaden her horizons in everything she does.
Hali’a Parish is extremely multifaceted. As an actress, singer and dancer she’s performed and taken lead on multiple stages such as Legends in Concert and Disney World. As an artist and professional hula dancer she shares her passion for culture by teaching music to children at Hawaiian charter schools. She’s obtained her Masters Degree in Business Administration and Bachelors in Speech Communication leading her to also take on a career as a television host and entrepreneur.
“Wine &…” is a unique TV Show/ Podcast that covers everything wine and all that it is connected to. It is not only about the producers, winemakers, vignerons, somms and the people who rate and drink it but its interconnectivity with culture, art, history, music, cuisine and its unique and specific connection to the earth.
