Event scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, rain or shine
Ocean-goers of all skill levels are invited to venture out to Kualoa Regional Park to experience the Polynesian voyaging tradition during the 11th Annual Kualoa/Hakipu‘u Canoe Festival.
The Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation is proud to organize this yearly event, which is scheduled for Saturday, March 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine.
The event is free and open to the public. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy this immersive Hawaiian cultural experience which includes: a variety of paddling & sailing activities, educational booths, navigation lessons, and much more.
As a result of the festival, Kualoa Regional Park Campground A will be closed for the camping period beginning on Friday, March 13. Campground B will remain open, however campers should be aware that there will be a significant increase in pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
