Tropical Flowers Express

Say it with flowers from the Garden Island. Kauaʻi is the oldest and most remote island in the Hawaiian island chain, with record amounts of rainfall. Located upcountry, Tropical Flowers Express grows flowers as unique as the island itself. Over 25 years ago, Johnny and Theresa Gordines were inspired by a neighbor to raise tropical flowers, and today they ship beautiful tropical bouquets straight to your front door.

“Tropical Flowers Express is unique in that we are not a store front,” said owner John Gordines. “All our flowers are harvested fresh from our farm to your door. We ship to the United States in two business days, so our flowers couldn’t be fresher than if you picked them yourself!”

Verde

Verde Restaurant celebrates the essence of local food and vibrant community by supporting local farmers and food producers.

“Verde Restaurant is a New Mexican restaurant using red and green chilies and incorporating local flavors for an island-flare,” said owner Maris Manzano. “We aim to provide a healthier Mexican food by using 100% grass-fed Makaweli Kauaʻi beef, antibiotic-free and hormone-free chicken and pork. A local favorite is the Seared Rare Ahi Tacos. It’s just one of a kind – once you try it, you’ll agree!”

Aloha Fresh Macadamias

Aloha Fresh Macadamias began in 2011 with a vision of sustainability for Hawaiʻi. Their macadamias are prepared by hand in small batches on the island of Kauaʻi, and seasoned with natural ingredients from local and/or certified organic sources. They are grown on Hawaiʻi Island using sustainable energy and no pesticides.

“We love utilizing the natural abundance of the Hawaiian Islands, and feel blessed to support our family in this way. “We use as much local and organic that we can, and I roast every batch myself in a small commercial kitchen in Kapaa. My husband and our friends help us deliver to stores all over Kapaa, and we also ship to other islands and the mainland. We aim to have the most delicious and highest quality flavored mac nut on the market!”” said owner Katie Young.
