Enjoy Kauai’s Newest Fire Show at Anaina Hou Community Park

By Hawaii.com Team

An Experience You Don’t Want To Miss

While on Kauai, be sure to enjoy the North Shore’s newest one-stop entertainment option – a Polynesian Fire Show, known as the ahi lele or “fire dancing.” The fire show is presented Wednesdays in the Porter Pavilion at Anaina Hou. The new pavilion allows the show to go on rain or shine. You and your ʻohana are in for a red-hot treat!

Please visit the Anaina Hou website at www.anainahou.org.

Mesmerizing Performance

The performance, featuring the amazing and well-known artistry of Coppin Colburn and his ʻohana, begins at 7:30 p.m. each Wednesday. While most seating is general admission, VIP seating is available for first row seats. Seating is limited – and the shows do sell out often.

Check-in early to reserve your seats; doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Before the Show

Start your evening between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. with a delicious dinner special from Kaua’i Family Café ($20 adults/$12 keiki). A fabulous selection of wines and beer are also available to enjoy. Note that food and beverages are not included in the ticket price.

Visit the Gift Store

Anaina Hou has much more to offer than the fire show. The Gift Store at Anaina Hou is known for its great selection of locally made gifts, grab-n-go items perfect for a hike on the Wai Koa Loop Trail, local arts and crafts and more. All proceeds from the store support the mission of Anaina Hou Community Park, to provide a gathering place for the community and a great place for visitors to experience the aloha spirit of Kauaʻi.

Mini Golf Botanical Garden

The miniature golf botanical garden is open daily and is not your typical miniature golf course! The 18-hole course is set among a beautiful Hawaiian botanical garden, representing the different eras of Kauai’s history. The course takes you on a journey through the origins of the island, the people that populated Hawaiʻi and the plants and beautiful tropical flora that came with them. Meanwhile, pipe shots, water and many other obstacles make for a fun and challenging experience perfect for the entire family!

This combination of recreation with education in a beautiful setting creates a truly unique experience enjoyed by visitors and members of the kamaʻaina community alike. The Par 47 miniature golf course is ADA accessible.

Pau Hana Fridays

On Fridays join Pau Hana Fridays from 5 to 8 p.m. for live music and entertainment, coupled with ono food and drink specials! Specials include half-priced draft beers and a great selection of wines. Family-friendly games are also a part of the fun night.

See you at Anaina Hou!
