Sheraton Kona Resort

After a recently completed $20 million property renewal, the Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay now offers guests an even better resort experience. From its revamped lobby and refreshed guestrooms and suites, guests can expect to see thoughtful details that reflect the rich heritage of Hawaii without compromising modern-day conveniences.

The 22-acre Kona coast property sits on the ubiquitous lava rocks that make up much of Hawaii Island. While its 485 guestrooms ensure a goodnight’s sleep thanks to the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed, the resort’s suites provide added amenities for families with its Ohana Suite—a single-room suite with two full baths and a living/sleeping area for up to two children. The sprawling views of the Executive or Deluxe Executive Suite never fail to impress, while its ultra-posh Presidential Suite has its own private rooftop patio, complete with lounge chairs and table with umbrella.

And when it comes to dining, chef Jayson Malla cooks up delectable farm-to-table fare at cliff-side restaurant Rays on the Bay—located so close to the ocean, diners are privy to unhampered views of Keauhou’s resident manta rays. It’s just one of several on-property dining options.
