Identification needed for a Hawaiian Islands cruise
U.S. and Canadian citizens must (1) provide proof of citizenship and (2) proof of identity to board Hawaiian Island cruises.
(1) Proof of citizenship consists of a passport only; YOU MUST HAVE A VALID PASSPORT TO SAIL
(2) Proof of identity can be one of the following:
Valid driver's license
Government identification card including photograph and physical description
For children ages 6 to 17 a school ID card is acceptable.
NOTE: Permanent residents of the United States are required to carry their Alien Resident Card (ARC) for boarding. A child traveling with an adult who is not their parent or legal guardian must possess a notarized parental/guardian consent letter that authorizes the minor to travel, and that further authorizes medical treatment in case of an emergency.
