"Reflections: A Recollection of Hawaii's Past illustrates daily life in our Hawaiian Islands via photographs submitted by readers of The Honolulu Advertiser. The only requirement was that the photographs were to be at least 50 years old (pre-1957). Reflections staff had a difficult, but enjoyable task of selecting those we thought to be most interesting to be shared with our readers. We believe that most of these photos have perhaps never been shared outside the family that submitted it.
