Question: What is the best time of year for whale watching and which are the best islands from which to see whales?

A: Humpback whale migration season revs up in November/December and winds down in April/May.
All Hawaiian Islands offer whale watching excursions and tours.
Maui usually offers a schedule of additional activities that celebrate the whales and conservation, some events presented by groups such as the Pacific Whale Foundation. Read more
