See a Show in Waikiki

Choose from a variety of popular entertainment

When the sun goes down and Waikiki lights up like a painted lady, a lot of people head for a showroom. The Society of Seven, an all-male lineup of musicians with an outrageous sense of humor, has been drawing crowds at the Outrigger Waikiki's main showroom on Kalakaua Avenue for more than 30 years. And at the Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel, Merlin-award-winning magician John Hirokawa stars in the "Magic of Polynesia," perennial favorite Don Ho, who has been entertaining in Hawaii since statehood, performs five nights a week, and Jonathon Von Brana continues a long run as Elvis in the Blue Hawaii Room.

"ONE," the newest dinner show in town, is playing at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa's Leahi Showroom. Expect an evening of high-energy live performances featuring mystifying illlusions, fire juggling, comedy acts and a stunning new Polynesian revue. Move to the beat of impersonators such as Madonna, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis. Headlining the show is the award-winning magic of husband and wife team, Les & Terri Au. Au's signature trick features beautiful exotic birds in performance and is sure to delight an audience of young and old. The show also features a dinner buffet.

The Society of Seven performs at 8:30 p.m. every night except Monday. The show, just a tad risqué, is high energy, nostalgic, funny and totally entertaining. But above all, this showband of seven talented guys knows how to put on a party. They share the limelight with their more-than-willing audience. (It's amazing what people will do when they've having fun.)

Hirokawa's "Magic Of Polynesia" is a showy stage spectacular that transforms Hawaiian legends with mystifying illusions and special effects. Dinner and cocktail shows are staged nightly at the Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel.

In another showroom at the Beachcomber, Don Ho stars in a popular family show. The entertainer, a Waikiki institution, is a celebrity who won't let you stop laughing at him, at life, or at yourself.
