Mokoli'i Island (Chinaman's Hat)

This well-known landmark island 500 yeards off the southeastern shore of Oahu is a popular place to kayak, tidepool and see a variety of seabirds. The ocean is shallow enough to wade out. If you decide to do so, wear old sneakers or reef walkers to protect your feet from the sharp coral. Respect the droves of birds that call the island home. Located on the Windward side, off-shore from Kualoa Beach Park, North Kane'ohe Bay.
