If you can ride a bicycle, you can paddle a kayak: a two-minute lesson in how to paddle and you're off. Molokai offers plenty of opportunity for kayakers. You can rent your own kayak and explore the coastline at your leisure, but it might not be clear where best to explore. Taking a guided tour might be an advantage for those new to the island. Your guide will know where to find green sea turtles, pods of dolphins and, during the winter season, humpback whales. The company will probably bring along snorkel or scuba gear, snacks and maybe even lunch.
