Canadian citizens traveling to Hawaii by air will need to present Passport or NEXUS card.
Canadian citizens traveling to Hawaii by sea need to present a Passport or Enhanced Driver's License/ID card or FAST/Expres and SENTRI card
Passport applications can be picked up at a regional passport office or most travel agencies. Canadian children who travel must have their own passports. Those holding a valid Canadian passport issued before December 11, 2001, that bears the name of the child, the passport remains valid until it expires.
Applications, which must be accompanied by two identical passport-size photographs and proof of Canadian citizenship, are available at travel agencies throughout Canada or from the central Passport Office, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Ottawa, ON K1A 0G3 (tel. 800/567-6868).
It is suggested you photocopy the page of your passport with your photo and any other important documents. Carry one set of copies in a safe place, apart from the originals, and leave another set at home.
