Packing for your Cruise

Women Should Pack:
• Casual, sporty clothing: Three to four pairs of casual shorts, tank tops, t-shirts and other light-cotton shirts and skirts (skirts are generally shorter here, except for dining)
• Good walking shoes and/or sneakers for shore excursions
• One to two pairs of dress shoes (one pair for dining, one pair for dancing)
• Bathing suit
• Light to medium jacket, plus a wrap you can use with a dress (for sunset romance on deck)
• Several nice outfits or evening gowns for semi-formal or formal evenings
• Sun hat or other head covering
• Camera, film and/or video camera
• Waist pack or backpack (something other than a purse) to use during shore excursions
• Light, water-based skin moisturizer
• Sunscreen: at least SPF 15


Men should pack:
• Casual, sporty clothing: Three to four pairs of shorts, t-shirts and other light-cotton shirts
• Swimming trunks
• One sport coat and tie for semi-formal evenings
• Several pairs of long, light-cotton pants
• Good walking shoes and/or sneakers (for shore excursions)
• One pair of dress shoes
• One light- to medium-weight jacket (for breezy moonlight stolls on deck)
• Waist pack or backpack (something other than a purse) to use during shore excursions
• Sun hat or other head covering
• Camera, film and/or video camera


Pack for children:
• One pair of sneakers
• Socks for the sneakers
• One pair of sandals (preferably good walking sandals)
• A sweatshirt or long-sleeved shirt
• Light- to medium-weight jacket
• Several pairs of long pants or leggings
• T-shirts, shorts (cotton is best)
• Bathing suit
• Several nice outfits for sit-down dinners
• Sunscreen, SPF 30-50
• Hat
• If your child is younger than 5, we recommend bringing a stroller or baby backpack for walking and/or sight-seeing during shore excursions.

Children should leave behind:
• Heavy coats
• Sweaters, sleepers and flannel pajamas (especially for babies; too much clothing will overheat a small child)
