A tremendous amount of new content has been added, we have renamed the sections and improved navigation by listing all the relevant categories by island in the left column. We have added geographic areas across all the islands to help visitors plan their trip once they arrive.

The additional sections and content allow us to help advertiser’s better target their offerings and allow a wider range of product to be promoted. We have also added new features including our Paradise Tool that helps our visitors and members decide which islands they should visit based on their interests, and a quick Find Travel Special box both are found on the home page.

Visitor and Member Demographic

We have over 180,000 members in our database, the list has recently been purged of expired email addresses to ensure we have a clean list with a high open rate. We expect the membership to grow another 93,000 members in 2010. Our members are rewarded during the year with points for viewing emails and visiting the site. Points are redeemed for prizes that further promote the Islands and Hawaii.com's advertisers.

Many of the ad packages we offer include the ability to promote to our members in weekly emails or our Monthly Newsletter.

Online Advertising Packages

This year we are offering advertising packages that start as low as $100/mo for the Where to Eat & Drink, Shopping and Golf sections, and start at $200 for all other sections up to $5,000/mo.

The cost of the package will depend on the amount of exposure on the site and in our database marketing.

There are opportunities to purchase banner advertising at a la carte pricing of $15-$18 CPM along with travel specials listing, database promotions and coupons.

Invoicing and Reporting

A campaign takes from 2-3 business days to launch after materials are received. Hawaii.com would be pleased to build banner ads for any campaign of $500 or more per month running for a minimum of 6 months. Advertisers will be billed monthly.

Advertisers receive a detailed campaign report by the 10th of the following month.
